Mozilla OS or Mobile Support?
The Mozilla Foundation has recently started looking into the possibility of a Mozilla Operating System. They have already sent a group of developers in to experiment with the idea. However current users do not see the point to it.
Mobile phones are now more common than desktop and laptop computers combined. It’s being argued that Mozilla should spend more time developing their mobile phone browser.
Over the past few years Firefox has been called the “Memory Hog” and “CPU Smasher”. If Mozilla proceeded to launch a mobile browser they would have to rewrite Gecko, the Mozilla browser engine.
Are Mozilla just trying to copy Google, by emulating Chrome OS?
