Apple iOS7 – The Breakdown
Apple are set to release their latest instalment of their highly anticipated iOS operating system along with the release of the two new iPhones.
One of the most noticeable features is the new ‘flat’ user interface that will replace its predecessor. The UI will give the phone a much more ‘sleek’ and ‘clean’ look that has now been adopted by newer operating systems such as windows 8 for example.
Apple has also taken onboard feedback from users and have installed compulsory features into the operating system such as a torch app which previously users would have to download from a third party via the app store. Also the long winded task of finding ones Wi-Fi settings has been made much quicker and can be accessed now via a swipe up from the bottom of the screen to bring up a interface with the devices setting features.
The new operating system will be available for free and can be installed on ipod devices 5th gen and above, on iPhones newer than the 3g and 3gs and finally on iPads newer than the original.
Another big step forward is the new feature ‘iTunes Radio’ which will act as an online radio covering over 200 stations, however this feature will only be available in America.
