Web Design / Graphic Design Vacancies in Newmarket, Suffolk

Due to consistent business growth Designaweb are now looking for Trainee Web Developers to join our existing web development team.

These positions are permanent and full-time however we will consider other options for suitable candidates.

Applicants should ideally have some knowledge of PHP programming, MySQL database management, CSS styling and possess natural design flair.

The successful applicant will join the existing Designaweb team and develop their existing web development skills within the working environment.

Applicants should have some experience in the following skills:trainee-web-designer

  • Graphic design using Photoshop
  • Microsoft Office
  • CSS3 web design
  • HTML / HTML5
  • PHP
  • JavaScript
  • MySQL

Applicants should have a good sound knowledge of using Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and FTP programs. Knowledge of Ruby on Rails coding would be an advantage but not essential.

Attention to detail is essential as is the ability to work in a self motivated and timely fashion.

Graphic Designer / Print Management

Designaweb are now looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our existing team in Newmarket, Suffolk.graphic-designer

The suitable applicant will have experience in all types of graphic design including logo design, corporate branding, website design and layouts as well as complete design to print management. To be successful at this position you will need to be self motivated, highly organised, have a keen eye for detail with good spelling / grammar and be experienced at preparing graphics ready for print.

Typical design projects will include business stationery, business cards, banners, logo design, brand development, posters, vehicle graphics, website design and layouts to name a few.

Photography skills would be an added bonus for this role.
